We want to make sure every child in Canada learns to code and every teacher has support to bring it into the classroom so we’ve created the KCJ Fund.
The KCJ Fund is open to schools in BC, Ontario and Quebec. We need to have instructors in your community to bring our lessons to you. So if you are in a different province, let us know so we can start to build a network of instructors and volunteers in your community.
Where possible, the KCJ Fund will cover all or partials costs for a trained KCJ instructor to teach students our 8-hr computer programming curriculum or for students to attend a workshop. First priority is towards primary schools underserved communities.
If you have accessed the Fund in the past for an 8-week program, you will now only have access to the Fund for Teacher Training.
Please note that applying to the KCJ Fund does not guarantee fees will be waived.
We’ll be in touch with you soon after we’ve received your application.
