Our Mission

Kids Code Jeunesse is dedicated to giving every Canadian child (5-12 yrs old) the chance to learn computational thinking and to code in schools and in their community. We work in classrooms, train teachers at conferences and professional days, and host our Create, Code & Play workshops.

We show educators and pre-service educators how to weave code into their curriculum. We connect KCJ volunteers with teachers and train instructors to teach KCJ lessons and projects. We work to raise awareness in industry and in government about the importance of introducing these skills to children and their teachers at the elementary school level.
We bring computational thinking & code to teachers & schools across the country. We host Code Create & Play workshops and help communities setup Code Clubs.
