"The Lunar Rover is capable of doing many things including collecting extra energy from the sun, transmitting images, audio, and other data back to earth, collect physical samples on the moon, take pictures and videos, carry another human being, measure photons and particles, convert heat generated from decayed plutonium, and much more. Though the rover is capable of more, its main tasks include exploring the moon at a faster pace than humans, collecting samples, and transmitting new information back to the humans. It can also be used to scout potential lunar habitats. See pdf for full description."
