10 years of digital skills education

Digital Moment is celebrating its 10th anniversary! Founded in 2013 by Kate Arthur, Digital Moment (formerly Kids Code Jeunesse) has dedicated itself over the last decade to reach over 700,000 youth across Canada creating a strong community that believes in the power of digital skills. 

Thank you for supporting us in our mission to advance digital literacy in Canada. We will continue to strive to equip youth and educators with all the essential skills they need!

Bring awareness to health & well-being with the Digital2030 Challenge.

During Mental Health week, we highlight the importance of prioritizing our health and well-being, both in and out of the classroom. In our online Digital2030 Challenge, students track their physical activities and add their digital artwork to our global gallery.  

Through coding and data visualization, they develop critical thinking and problem solving abilities.  Read our blog about The Challenge and how to get started.

Summer Youth Opportunities 

The Social innovation lab by Digital Moment aims to inspire young people to use their digital skills to make a positive impact on their communities. Through the program, students are encouraged to identify and solve social problems using digital technology and design thinking. The Lab provides mentorship, training, and resources to help students develop their ideas and turn them into tangible solutions.

Data Literacy in the AI Era Workshop

This Day of AI, empower your students with the knowledge and skills to flourish in the world of AI.  Our on-demand workshop gets students thinking about the place of algorithms & data in their daily lives and shows them that they can understand it and learn to use it to navigate more easily in this world.

Participate in research

We are currently conducting a research study on awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) and looking to interview high school teachers based in Quebec to hear their perceptions regarding AI and its use within educational settings including challenges and concerns.
