Helping young people develop confidence, creativity, and digital skills in the long-term takes a village.
It’s thanks to our incredible support ecosystem of national and international funding partners, community supporters, and educational institutions that we’re able to foster innovation, digital citizenship, and sustainability among the young leaders of today and tomorrow.
It is because of this support that our communities are thriving.
We’re working with Amazon Future Engineer to provide high-school students and educators in underserved communities with inclusive educational experiences and materials that focus on artificial intelligence, coding, and digital citizenship.
The goal of Amazon Future Engineer is to inspire, educate, and prepare children and young adults from underrepresented and underserved communities to pursue computer science. Canada has a rich history in artificial intelligence and machine learning. With this partnership, we will bring coding workshops to more communities while also developing thoughtful new artificial intelligence workshops that apply technology beyond the classroom.
With Ubisoft Education’s support, we will provide kids and teachers across Quebec with teacher training and community events through our Code Québec initiative, which aims to better support communities across the province and engage more young people in STEM disciplines.
Sparking interest in STEM from an early age means preparing next generations for the jobs of the future. Ubisoft is proud to partner with Kids Code Jeunesse to deploy the Code Québec initiative, which will introduce nearly 600 teachers and 15,000 students to programming basics by the end of 2022. Since its launch in 2018, more than 75,000 students from elementary school to university have benefited from Ubisoft Education’s program.
